Remembering what helped us and what hurt us in our own childhood gives us the freedom to decide how to act in our children’s best interests. And sometimes, even though we know what is “best” for our children, it feels nearly impossible to turn our parenting goals into reality.<\/p>\n

I offer practical solutions for challenges related to development, school, friends, and family dynamics. I help you untangle sibling conflicts, calm tantrums, build self-esteem, strengthen family communication, cope with life’s stressors, and manage the various developmental challenges of raising children in New York City from birth to adolescence. Informed by research in child development, you will leave invigorated with realistic, effective, and practical techniques.<\/p>\n

I am certified as a Parent-Infant\/Child specialist from Jewish Board of Family and Children Services with over 25 years of experience leading parenting groups and workshops as well as working in mental health agencies, community centers, schools, and camps, and as a mother of two grown children.<\/p>\n
